How this site makes money
Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you book through one, the provider pays us a small commission. It does not change your price and it does not change the verdict on the page.
Every provider we have an arrangement with is named in the table below, and that table is generated from the site's own link list rather than typed out — so it cannot quietly fall out of date when a new partner is added. When a link carries an affiliate arrangement it is tagged so the sale is attributed to us, and it is marked rel="sponsored nofollow" in the page source. You pay exactly what you would have paid going to the provider directly.
The companies that pay us
All 12 of them. Most pages only ever link the first three; the rest appear on the planning pages where they are the relevant answer. “Network” is the company that handles the payment — it is not a separate recommendation, and you never interact with it.

Booking.com is reached through CJ Affiliate and TripAdvisor through Rakuten Advertising, so those two set a cookie from the network's domain as well as their own when you click. Our cookie page sets out what that means and how to refuse it.
Money never buys a verdict
No provider pays for placement or for a better verdict here. When a page tells you to take the RM2.60 train and skip the tour, that is the recommendation even though the train earns us nothing and the tour would. The commission follows the honest answer; it does not set it.
Review counts and star ratings shown on booking cards are the provider’s own figures, attributed to them on the card. We publish no ratings of our own and add no aggregate score to our pages.
